Netherlands stayed top of the rankings following a double victory over Sweden beating them 2-0 in the London olympics and 5-3 in a friendly at Den Haag.

Belgium also beat the Swedes 2-1 in Brussels to leap frog Hungary into 2nd.

France played their qualifying fifth match in the London olympics being humiliated 17-1 by Denmark.

Netherlands remained top of the pile for the second consecutive month. June was dominated by England's tour of Europe in which they beat Austria 6-1 in Vienna, before two days later rattling 11 past them. They then moved on to trounce Hungary 7-0 in Budapest.

Austria came into the rankings following a 3-2 victory over Germany in Vienna.

Netherlands regained top spot with a resounding 4-1 victory over France in Rotterdam. Hungary were confirmed in second losing 4-0 in Vienna to Austria.

Netherlands held top spot for just one month as Hungary enter the rankings in 1st place thanks to their impressive 5-2 victory over Czechoslovakia in Budapest. Belgium kept in touch beating the French 2-1 in Colombes, but were kept below the Netherlands following the Dutch's 3-1 win in Rotterdam.
